Paula Patton has a distinguished career as an actress as well as a producer and director. Her most prominent work is for her role as a lead actress as a character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. As a young girl she was raised in the Los Angeles middle-class household. Instilling a passion for film in her daughter was something that she learned from her mother she also enjoyed watching films. Paula was a fan of school co-curricular activities and she was a huge fan of drama. She played with her classmates and was a part of the school's plays. After performing in a variety of performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School, she decided to make acting her occupation. She was enrolled at the University of Southern California in the summer program, and was awed by her experience. She won a PBS 3-month assignment to make documentary films. When she was successful in completing the assignment, she began becoming an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. When she was done with her work and completing her documentary, she began producing films. However, she had always wanted to work as an actress even though she was happy at her work. Her acting journey began with a small part on the movie romantic comedy Hitch along with Will Smith. Since then, she has been in a variety of films and television series.
