Summer Glau

 Glau's first TV credit was a guest appearance as an actress on an episode of the popular television show Angel. Director Joss Whedon saw her and decided to cast her as River Tam on his short-lived TV series Firefly. She also played in the role of the sequel Serenity. Glau has previously attempted to audition for the role of a Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa Enrile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but lost to actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau played the role in the episode "Love Conquer Al" of the TV series Cold Case. She played Shelly who was a high school senior in Sleepover. She also appeared in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom? " The second season of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girlfriend of Jeremy Erhart). In 2006, Glau played Tess Doerner as a paranoid schizophrenia returnee during the season two premiere of The 4400, and became the main character from season three onwards. Mammoth was also her role in the horror comedy. Glau was also cast in the ABC Family TV movie The Initiation of Sarah.In Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a TV series that premiered on January 13, 2008, Glau was the character Cameron Phillips, a Terminator infiltration unit who is sent back to defend John Connor and Sarah Connor from Skynet. The 7th episode of the show, "The Demon Hand", featured several scenes where Glau acting as Cameron was seen dancing ballet. In the second season's episode "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young, Cameron's human doppelganger. Glau also starred as herself in a CBS episode in 2009 of the Big Bang Theory's satirical comedy.
