Rosalia

Rosalia Vila Tobella[2] (born 25 September 1992),[3] known mononymously as Rosalia (Spanish: [rosa'li.a], Catalan: [ruz@'li.@]),[4][5][6] is a Spanish singer. She was was raised in Barcelona. Her eclectic style of music has earned her the title of "atypical pop star". Her passion for music was ignited by Spanish folk music at the age of 13 years old. She studied musicology at Catalonia College of Music and was also a wedding singer. Reimagining flamenco in a new way by mixing it with pop and hip hop music, it produced the hit singles "Malamente" as well as "Pienso en Your Mira", which caught the interest of the Spanish general public and then were released to wide reviews. El Mal Querer was the first artist to bring Rosalia to the international music scene. [12][13(13) Rosalia has explored the urbano genre with her releases in 2019 "Con Altura" and "Yo Ti x Tu x Mi", having global success. Her third album, Motomami (2022), she introduced reggaeton with an original style, straying slightly from the flamenco style of her first album. The album's lead singles "La Fama" and "Saoko" were able to capture the attention of international audiences and were the most praised album on Metacritic. Rosalia has had ten number one singles from her home country in the span of her entire career. This is the most she's ever had for an artist from the country. Rosalia has also been awarded two Grammy Awards, eleven Latin Grammy Awards (including two Album of the Year nominations) as well as four MTV Video Music Awards, an MTV Europe Music Award, three UK Music Video Awards and two Premio Ruido awards, among other things. Billboard presented her with the Rising Star Award in 2019 for "changing the sound of mainstream music by bringing flamenco to pop"[18The award was presented to her in 18. She was also the first Spanish-singing artist to be nominated at the Grammys for Best New Artist. Rosalia was born on 25 September 1992 in Sant Cugat del Valles and raised in Sant Esteve Sesrovires,[20][21][22] Baix Llobregat, Catalonia. She is the youngest of four children born to Pilar Tobella, an entrepreneur who owns a small metalworking company. Her father, Jose Manuel Vila, was born in Cudillero, Asturias. They divorced in 2019. [23] She has an older sibling, Pilar "Pili" Vila (born 1989), who works alongside Rosalia as her stylist and creative director. Rosalia was interested in the performing arts from a young age, and particularly after discovering the discography of Camaron de la Isla. In the Taller de Musics, she began her musical education. She attended a six year course at the academy. She began attending class at the Raval school, and then transferred to the Superior School of Music of Catalonia. Also, she was an individual singer, performing at weddings and bars that were musical. For this she received "a little more than 80 euros" or in return for dinner. Rosalia has also met a lot of underground Spanish musicians in this period such as La Zowi (Yung Beef), Kaydy Cain and Hinds. Rosalia Rosalia Rosalia Rosalia Rosalia
